Graffiti art has become a world phenomenon fusing contemporary pop cultures and mixing it with the New York graffiti wild styles. Even though Los Angeles gave birth to many prolific urban Graff artists the question made by galleries and museums still remains, “Is this Art?” The exhibit “You Call This Art?” explores the unique creative expressions of some of the most talented urban graffiti artists in Los Angeles. The exhibition will feature the abstract works of renowned muralist and artist Zender One who has been a part of the Los Angeles Graff scene since 1983, Cowboy, influenced by the LA Graff since the early nineteen eighties, Cale One, who has been producing jaw dropping murals throughout LA and is a member of the notorious K2S crew and Skrybe 52 an up and coming graffiti artist who explores urban art with his Cambodian culture.
